Rob Fitzel is an Ottawa-based author who enjoys exploring hidden truths through creative storytelling. He holds a degree in electronic systems engineering and approaches writing like he builds intricate software systems: designing character arcs, debugging plot holes, and optimizing dialogue.

From a young age, he loved doodling and drawing comic books. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he caught the writing bug and began focusing on longer-form writing.

Eager to enhance his skills, he dedicated hours to research. Rob enjoys sharing his knowledge by creating useful tools for writers and teaching aspiring authors at the local library.

Shooting Star is his first novel.
